While in agreement with Oliver for the most part, one area I slightly and respectfully disagree with him. Fusion is a very robust compositing application but After Effects is better for motion graphic

Specifically on the 4k Presets question. We have tons of 4k formats like ProRes, GoPro, Cineform, JPEG 2000, h264 among others. Also coming out VERY VERY soon is our new 2015 update which adds h.265,

I know many people who have to (not want to) go similar ways like you. Not easy to avoid CC. Adobes market position is to strong. And sometimes Adobes software is without competition. If file-formats
