If you are using the FW 400, it will be slow. USB will be even slower. FW 800 is faster. Average offload times for FW 800 is about 30 seconds to 1 minute per GB. Also depends on which P2 cards you hav

The first time I directly used the P2 system was the worst time. I've heard people losing data before and it certainly seems it's a confusion of workflow and data maintenance...as was my misadventure.
