If you are doing this in Photoshop have you tried rasterizing the text before animating them If you are doing it in Illustrator create an outline. I hope this helps.

I hope I understand your question correctly. If you have a image that you want to change just get the exact width and height of the photoshop file in pixels. Design what you want and rename it exactly

Create a footprint outline in Illustrator. Then type out the word footwear. Make it an outline text for footwear. Choose both and create a mask. If you want to morph it, in addition to After Effects y
