EX1 firmware upgrade problem

I've tried to upgrade my EX1 with the new firmware version 1.20 as described in the upgrade-manual. At 12.7% the transfer stopped and - as expected - the camera is dead. Upgrade was done with MacBook

Our only issue with the updating on the firmware is Sony's serviceplus site has been undergoing maintanance for going on two weeks. However we were able to get around it by replacing a lens in a unit

HD-110 doesn't work with battery power

My Hd-110 just stopped working with the battery pack (an IDX AE2-HD100), but works fine on AC. I found a couple of examples of the same thing on another forum which pointed to the internal AC Battery

Be careful with using adhesives like glue on that camera. Especially the battery compartment. I would honestly suggest to get a professional opinion at a reputable service facility. www.tekmg.com

Make sure to also check your tapes. Open the flap and make sure the tape doesnt have wrinkles, waves, or tears. Usually near the end of the tape is where you will want to check the tape physically. Di
