The Sony MXF templates give accurate colors and support 4:2:2, 50 Mbps bit rate and PCM audio, as well as interlace if delivering 1080i.

Replying to this old thread ... Make awfully darn sure your bars are not digital 0. Zero is reserved for sync and is sure to wreak havoc if it is in your video. To be on the safe side I would make the

BT.709 calls for chroma 16 - 240 and luma 16-235. I can't imagine anything else pushing you close to the speed limit.
