If these are truly mkv made directly from a BD disc, all you need do is demux the video and audio. then import those into encore with transcoding turned off. again it only works if it's an mkv directl

I usually don't change drivers unless there is a problem. The 10.x blackmagic driver I'm running now works with fcp7 and color in os x 10.10.4

update: Thought it was good but the Kona3G doesn't do reverse pull-down, so it had to be ran through a Teranex.

No external audio or video preview with MAC AE CC 2014 through my black magic hardware running 9.7.7 BMD driver. If I run AE CC, it works just fine using the same mercury transmit settings enabled.

I don't think mpeg stream clip is multi threaded so it won't be using all your cores. Adobe Media Encoder and Apple Compressor do though.

It should be within the help file. My recollection is that it adheres to industry standard of a 40mbps maximum (video+audio) bit rate for blu-ray.

You can do this with pop-up menus, but it will not be animated. Animated menus only work with BD-J (java) authoring. DoStudio could do that. Encore is a BDMV mode blu-ray app only. If they can settle

Hey Adobe, please fix your broken preset for AME CC. It refuses to encode DV .mov files at 23.98 It ALWAYS encodes them to 29.97 even when a DV 24p preset is selected.
