Hello to all: I need to update (which I hate doing) to Final Cut Studio 2 and was wondering if there is a stable combination of software that anyone is using. I am using: 2 X 3 GHz Dual Core Intel G5

this does not change drive formatting. Drives from 10.4 work perfectly with 10.5. There is no fear in doing this. bob Zelin

The Apple RAID card requires slot 4, as it connects to the MB using a short cable. AJA confirmed that slot 3 was fine, in fact they recommended it... Strange world...Mitch Ives Insight Productions Cor

Hello All: Just made the switch to FCP 5.1.2, MacOSX 10.4.8 on a new 2X3Ghz DualCore Intel w 8GB RAM & Kona 3 Card and among many small bugs, the worst I have been having is very very slow rendering.
