I'm relatively new to Premiere, and am still working up my workflow On FCP7 (and editing HD rather than 4K), the final steps were: 1. Export a ProRes 422 HQ final. This took about 15 minutes. I'd grab

by Christophe Pettus 11 months ago
I'm an experienced Final Cut Pro editor, new to Premiere. I'm having a very good timecode situation on some footage from a Canon 300 Mk II (4K, 24fps): The workflow was: 1. On-set, at the start of eac

Researching it a bit more, I must admit that while I am better informed, I'm none the wiser... At the start of the shoot day, the timecodes in the paper log and in the media files in Premiere match (a
File size/present question for h.265.
by Christophe Pettus 11 months ago
I'm using ffmpeg on the command line to encode video from a QuickTime ProRes 4444p DCI-resolution source to h.265, y420p. It's working just fine, but I noticed something very odd: If I change nothing
