When you import your video through the import window you should be able to select the ranges and import only those ranges. Depending on what you are importing from.

Premiere runs better on a PC. FCP X runs better on a Mac. We should compare FCP X on a Mac and Premiere on a PC to really see which is faster.

You could try this. Stack your footage on top of one another. Turn on clip skimming. You can now skim each clip when your pointer is over each angle. That way you can see the footage of each angle. Cu

OK, this may not work but I am thinking out loud. I would detach the audio channel that is off my 20ms. Export each that channel as a .wav or .aiff. Bring that audio clip back in and sync with the cam
