Trying to find the best way to morph, melt or transform one object into another.

I am trying to dissolve melt, combine however you want to put it, one object into another. Think of a plane crashing into a building but the plane is just sort of absorbed by the building (then add som

your example of the plane crashing into the building results in the plane disappearing (if you don't see the inside of the building), at least 911 style, a Cessna on the other hand just jams in or fal

Please, please, please...How can i prevent overlapping by using a deformer for different spline objects

Hi everyone, I'm in a middle of a project, which is a kind of complicated. I use splines for wrapped tubes, the same way as can be creating cables. Covering these cables is another spline object, whic

a deformer that's at the same level as a number of objects should affect them all equally (like a Bend) or across them all (like Bulge). If your objects are in a null with the deformer it should work

simple dynamics question

The Dynamics Body tag on the Extrude needs to have Collision Shape set to Static Mesh (or Automatic (MoDynamics)) - when it's the default 'Automatic' it uses the bounding box of the object - which is

I'd guess the XP material is like (or based on) the Hair S&T renderer and won't render in the spherical camera (it's a limitation). You might have to use an xp generator to get something 'real' to ren

How to set anti-aliasing to 'best' using physical renderer

Baking multiple emitters and rigid bodies, not working in Render - C4D R19

dynamics typically need to be baked using the Cache tab inside the Dynamics tag since dynamics take the objects wherever they go once they are created.

Assign a displacer deformer only to a polygon selection
by Tulio Laanen 2 years ago
Is there a way to assign a displacer deformer only to a polygon selection, instead of a whole object Maybe a silly question but I cannot figure it out.
Re: Assign a displacer deformer only to a polygon selection
by Brian Jones 2 years ago
yes, you can make a Selection tag of the face polys you want to use then add a Restriction tag to the Displacer deformer and drag the selection tag into that. you could also use displacement in a mate

the bevel tool on that selected edge in the 2nd example pic looks like it would do the trick *but* the parts of your S would need to be joined to make one object and it would need to be truly attached
