Exception: sequence refers to non existent track in clip
by Brendan Maghran 5 years ago
Anyone know how to solve this Alexa Prores 4x4 footage in Avid 7. See attached photo, this message will randomly pop up on sequences during the day, and I don't know how to solve it for the life of me

I don't see an attached photo, but I think this is the same issue I had a couple of weeks ago. If you look above your record monitor, and check out the timecodes visible for each video audio track, do
Exporting Multitrack Avid 6.5
by Brendan Maghran 5 years ago

Re: Exporting Multitrack Avid 6.5

Your 'workaround' is the very best method. Fast too. Best because the transcode to ProRes inside MC keeps correct gamma and luma levels, unlike the conversion to ProRes 422 in the Custom Export option
Reveal all timeline clips

Here we go again, first transcoding, then editing. You end up in a mess with a lot of H264 files, because the render files are a killer. Transfer all of them and use the same clip names in a different
Sony F5 Avid 5.5 workflow?

Yep! The 1.2 isn't for the XAVC media much to my dismay. I haven't ever used Resolve Lite before, but I'm looking for an easy export setting just to get dailies to my avid. I don't even need them grad

Transcoding DNxHD 444 350 X to DNx36
by Leigh Dodson 6 years ago

I'm in a 1080 23.97 project and I want to export to 16x9 in SD (Long video, and I don't want the file to be too big). When I export HD full resolution, it comes out fine. But anytime I choose an SD re

Why not just change the format tab to 23.967 NTSC, and then export a custom 16:9 frame 864x486, 640x360, etc.
