Vegas has suddenly refused to run any existing project
by Bob Peterson 12 months ago
I can create a new, simple project, and Vegas refuses to restart it, It's claiming the project was built in a newer version of Vegas. Is this a not so subtle hint that I must upgrade from version 15

By the way, Vegas splashes two big upgrade advertisements on its screen every time you start it.

I've been gone awhile, so I apologize for this question which has probably already been answered. If I want to upgrade to VP 14, how do I find the discount price

I experienced something like this in an mpeg-2 file. It was skipping random frames. The solution in that case was to right click on the event - choose switches - click on reduce interlace flicker. Als
Re-Sync Takes AFTER Multi Cam is created?

So - long dance video - dozens of dances - two cams. I've done many of these so I know the drill. Sync up cams with plural eyes and make multi cam track and do the edits splits - works great. Problem

It is not unusual for the camera's "clock" to be slightly off from the "clock" on another camera. That will cause a drift when compared to another camera or recording device. I use the audio from a ca

I would try renaming the veg file in Windows. Then replace it with the veg backup file. If that doesn't work, search the forum for "unmanaged exception". Steve Mann used to post the procedure for deal

What is the smallest possible 720p render file on Sony Vegas Pro 13
by Jesse Anthony 4 years ago
I'm rendering videos in 720p and I want to get them as small as possible (I've gotten it to about 500Mb so far). I just want it to be in 720p but still keep the quality as good as possible

There is one strategy which may help. It is called the binomial rule. Establish an upper boundary on the bit rate and render it. If it is OK, pick a much lower bit rate as a lower boundary. Something

I processed the file in Izotope rx3 advanced. It does indeed have a 20khz tone which is quite large in amplitude, and which I can hear. I used the spectral repair tool in rx3 to remove this 20khz tone

Re: Adjustment layers - how to make exemptions?

Certainly. You simply apply a mask to the adjustment layer. The mask will restrict its effects to the areas of the image that you designate.

Assuming that Photoshop is generating the letters via typing with normal fonts, boost the resolution (ppi) dramatically. Once the text is complete at the high resolution, rasterize the text layer. Aft

Re: Assigning profiles for Broadcast PSD files

It is rare to assign profiles. The only time I can think of where that would be done is if an image does not have a profile. In that case, you might assign the profile that you think is correct. There
