I believe Media Express is for Blackmagic hardware only. I haven't captured DV or anything via firewire in quite a while, especially on my mac. But there are some free apps for Mac to capture DV via f

FCP 7 cannot work with stills over 4000 pixels. You'll get a GENERAL ERROR when you try to render it. YOu need to make them all 3800 pixels or less. Shane Little Frog Post Read my blog, Little Frog in

The easiest solution would be to go ahead and convert all of your footage to 1920x1080, 23.98 ProRes 422 etc. Just know that full hd ProRes is huge and will probably take up almost 4 times as much sto
