Wow, Nabil Nabih -- you answered that a full ten years after I posted it! And I think you're right -- RGB would be 0-255, whereas 709 allows for whites above 100IRE and blacks below 0, so 16-235 would

you can get the same chroma smoothing as most expensive keyers for free by simply adding an adjustment layer with ae's median effect at 2-4 and set the transfer mode set to color.

If you have an xpri then you can record the compressed HDCAM codec. Otherwise you will record the HDSDI stream from the player. regards MikeBrennan
