Hi Nikos - the specs say the $1998 DMW-YAGH samples at 48kHz with 16-bit quantization. That's OK for ENG, but not good enough for cinema or serious doc work. I would only buy the YAGH if I needed quad

Sadly, no. They are both preamplifiers, pure and simple. The only recorder in this form factor is the 285 DR-60D. Cheers, Bill
