IT can be a box, or a step, where you stand and give speeches from. You can get smaller ones and put candles on them. Sometimes people get put up on pedestals.

Which version of Premiere are you using The default shortcut for adding a dissolve is CMD+D. Also, make sure you have actually selected the cut or the end of the clip, rather than the entire clip.

other than non-drop vs drop frame time code, everything is the same. I can use 1080p30 footage and 1080p29.97 files together and they will be exactly the same, given that they are both, let's say, Pro

Cutting SD or any timeline that doesn't match your footage will slow things down as lots of rendering and non RT performance will be the result. SD Prores is probably the same size or larger than HD X

Good point Michael. I assumed the opposite, that the files were separate AIFF from the beginning :) So yes, my advice would only work if the AIFFs were separate files. But I don't think it would matte

FCP does not import Photoshop layers, only the flattened file. Motion imports the layers. Import the file into Motion. Animate the layers. Export the project for use in FCP. FCP cannot import a Motion
