Hit F1 and search for Subclips, however it does not reduce the clips on the harddrive. If they are GoPro you can trim them in GoProStudio but then will be saved to Cineform files. --------------------

You can drop 1.33 footage in a widescreen sequence without any problem I would start with a 1920x1080 (assuming it hd) and export to 2.39 aspect. You can make a matte in the title to help you to set t

Canon has a plugin for FCPx, Premiere etc to edit MXF files. FCPx still reads the files even though you dont have the card file structurer intact. Canon XF Utility. -----------------------------------
