I have a Sony camera mic with a 5 pin xlr and want to re-wire it for a 3 pin for an EX 3. I've opened the xlr and there are 5 wires: shield to pin 1 then green, black, red and pink. Does anybody know which ones do I combine or blank off for the 3 pin? Or is a No?

Hello, I am tearing my hair out... and there's not much left. I am still learning Vegas 10. All I am trying to do is to lower the level within a track: say music to drop as a voice comes in then rise back afterward. Can I figure this out? NO. So please help!
