Hey Andrew Just trash your thumbnail cache and FCP should happily regenerate the thumbnails for you. You can check the current location of the cache in your FCP System Settings window. Cheers Andy

I tested that. I had to render the sequence first (which would have taken 10 hours per 30 minute sequence, I have 3) and every time I added a transition I had to render that as well, so no real help.
