I have the same experience with my trackpad. I don't even remember in which box I put my mouse. It makes much more sense to me to use the pad in most apps I use.

From Apple education rep concerning yearly site licenses: 10.1 is not a new version. 10.1 is what we call a dot update i.e. 10.1, 10.2 etc. These are free. If we deployed a new version i.e. Final Cut

I only use FCPX and Motion 5 with DSLR footage and in the end plumped for the 6 core with D700 cards thinking it'll run well and get me the most years out of the machine before needing to consider a n

A base 12-core machine costs $6500 yes. It should also handily beat any previous Mac. However, Arstechnica is very correct in the fact that the 2013 MacPro can't compete with the higher end PCs.

Went with 6 cores, d700, 32gb and the 512gb boot drive. 8 cores was too much money and too much of a drop of CPU speed. Wonder if I need 512 for boot drive because my current one is 256 with 78gb free
