I know you can get cameras and nulls from maya to after effects, and back and forth between maya and nuke, but is there any way to get any kind of animation curve from after effects into to nuke maya

hmmm baking the keys worked, but when i export anything to maya none of the keys come through. i just get a locator at the origin called "_UNKNOWN_REF_NODE_fosterParent1" and another node in the outli

for some reason, when i export the fbx with a camera, maya says it doesn't recognise the file. I have the same problem when importing this fbx into nuke. it works fine just with geo. any ideas thanks,

Sure you only need to knwo the corect file format to save as. Try PDF or .psd which both have the ability to save transparency. PDF will hold vector quality so would make that your first choice. I onl

To my knowledge you'd have to create some kind of surface or object out of that curve to be rendered. Remember MAYA is a 3D environment and so the render cameras only see things that take up space. Po

You can do it in After Effects fairly easily. AE has the ability to que up a bunch of exports all at once. Then just go to bed while it does the exports. Although if you keep the same codec, it should

Are you sure that the original render in Combustion was done progressive There are no settings for progressive because the project type itself will always render and export progressive by default. If

Sure buddy this is easy just use Alt or Alt to move up or down a layer. If not you can reference them under edit keyboard shortcuts.
