CS5.5 - Failure to Import Sony AVCHD .MTS files

I'm getting a failure error "... unsupported compression format" when importing video from Sony NX5U AVCHD camera (which has MTS files) into CS5.5 Adobe Premiere Pro. Never had this problem with CS5.

Why Encoder takes over 24 to export 100 minutes CS5 project?

I'm trying to export a project (100 minutes soccer game video) using Premiere pro cs5, shot in HD 1080i 24fps (AVI format). But it has taken over 24hrs and still encoding, now at 85%. My laptop memory

Thanks Vince. Actually I have a new PC with the specs but can't use it because cs5.5 premiere pro failed to import video clips using the PC. Error was "... Unsupported compression format". My Sony cam

Most jobs like this are done with a signed statement of work estimate which the clients signs- and then an invoice and off you go. If you really wanted to take the step of a format contract, try here:

BTW, I think you mean the TRANSMITTER on the mom, not the Receiver. Or the shoot will become even MORE awkward:-) You could skip the lav entirely, and put a shotgun mic with a wireless TX on a stand,
