if its not 2:3:2:3 telecine reverse pulldown or 2:3:3:2 advanced pulldown, it could be that crazy 2:2:2:4 stuff which only cinema tools compressor could understand. we'll need sample footage to see.

It was possibly shot as 24 over 30 with pulldown added to fill out the frames. It might be possible to reverse telecine it back to 24 fps using software like the old Cinema Tools that came with Final

Adrian, Many folks plan to "filmout" their projects but very few do. Unless your "film" will be marketed and distributed to conventional cinemas there will be no need to do so. To get a film look for
