Not sure I fully understand your question. The SuperShare HUB is where all of the storage is connected, then the switch is what connect to the computers. So no mater how much storage you have connoted

If you are only dealing with the RED and Canon 5D you might not need speeds that the HDPro2 can provide. You might look at the HDOne or HDElement. You are looking to get 4 units Jared Picune CalDigit.

Unforturentrly the CalDigit RAID Card is only PCIe. The HDOne, HDPro, and CalDigit VR can all be used in PCI-x machines though. Jared PicuneCalDigit. Serious Storage.

You will end up paying a little more for the G-Tech or CalDigit drives, but they are also designed to last longer. Beyond that the CalDigit VR has removable drives which allows you to upgrade, replace

The IoLD does what the Kona 2 does (SDI in and out), minus the HD that the Kona adds. It sounds like you have everything you need for now, unless you need Analog HD. If not I would just buy the Kona L
