Sony FS-100 and ND Filters

I'm getting ready to purchase a Sony FS-100. I have used it in low light and got great footage. But, I am a bit concerned about the lack of NDs. I live in a VERY sunny state. Any advice on this issue

I was strongly leaning toward purchasing the JVC GY-HM700U because of the ergonomics (I don t care what anybody says, how the camera sits on your shoulder matters big time if you need to go handheld).
