Finished on-lining in Avid DS Nitris....I exported CMX 3600 EDL from FCP...speed changes are successfully recognized by DS Nitris. There were minor time-code issues on speed changes, which were solved

Apply the Warp 3D effect, open the effects palette and look for the rotation control. If you mean that you need to rotate a photograph that you've applied Pan & Zoom to and want it to fill the raster,

When you say you encode your video clips as anamorphic, at what stage are you talking about I'm guessing that is done when you encode out of Final Cut I looked around DVD SP and saw no option to encod

Did you check your export settings You have to choose "RGB+Alfa" and "Millions of colors +" then when you import it to Avid , in the import preferences , You should choose "invert existing.. www.cemyi

Capture preferences can get corrupted if you change easy setups or inputs with capture window open (happens ALL the time to me) Download share FCP rescue... Quit program... Trash Preferences... Realun

if it's an interview ( a person sitting on a chair and just talking) that means your object is not moving much, you most likely don't need to modify the mask frame by frame, which is for moving object

maybe try deleting the preferences file (this file doesn't get removed when you re-install)- I can't exactly remember where it is located....somewhere in your user files i think. Search the archives f
