update: i gave up and reinstalled W7 :-) All running nicely once again. Although I never did solve the problem of my youtube renders having a green line on the RHS when uploaded ----------------------

Odd situation happening, hasn't before. I shoot HD footage, standard project settings for that. Renders to HD quality just fine. I needed for sake of internet streaming, to try and render the project

I just got a decent SSD from Amazon and although it's a small drive I use it for my "active" vegas project files and OS. Might take some of the bottleneck away from your external drive, maybe --------

Options Preferences Thumbnails. Reset it from the default Head Center Tail to ALL. It's not a bug, it's a feature. And it *is* listed in the help guide (and the new Vegas Pro 9 Editing Workshop book.

Hi, i have a bunch of 2gb Sony MTS files I strung together using COPY B. The resultant big file (about 9gb) plays great and is perfect in all respects... exceptI cannot see the audio timeline graphic.

If i had your system, even for basic home editing, i would easily bump it up to Windows 7-64bit and go with Vegas Pro 10. Still decent enough for what you want. If all else fails, you can open up the

Did the camera come with any software like the Sony Motion Picture Browser If the Vegas Pro 9.0d Device Explorer can't join the files correctly, you should use the software that came with the camera.
