JUST FOUND THE ISSUE. The layer has three effects on it, including the puppet tool. As soon as puppet tool is switched off, the issue disappears. So the puppet work will be discarded and redone.

Not easily, but yes, there is always a way. evalFile will 'evaluate' an external script, that's it, that's all it does. In this, it will of coarse evaluate variables, so as long as your text conforms
