Hi Niko, In that case, all you are doing is exporting the source clip. Using the shortcuts alt+ and alt+ in your timeline, you will be able to easily add work area in out points and send that portion

Good news, the newer Sony Players have an option turn off the OSD. The bad news is that they don't have a pause button, so you have to use the remote to pause them, but you can use the inboard button

I usually just create a new comp, either square 854x480 (that will show you the reduction quality without pixel aspect ratio conversion), or DV widescreen, and resize inside it. Not much more to it. A
