Very weird! Especially because I wasn't able to read the card on a completely clean laptop (new harddrive). But after 3 times reboot the sxs card suddenly apeared on the desktop. Since then no problem

I just installed Final Cut Pro 5 with the updated IO drivers and I am not getting a video signal out. When I switch to digitize mode I am getting video but not when I'm just playing from the timeline.

I would advise against the Clean Install. I did just that and it disabled Motion and DVDSP. The reason is that there are essential components installed in various folders within the system. A clean in
