Have the same problem on my 64bit vegas 9.0 I guess it has something to to with the 64bit version. maybe there is no 64bit mp3 lame-encoder available by now. I heard that vegas 8.1 which is also 64bit

try saving your illustrator graphics as illustrator 8 file.it should work properly. greetz
