Your sequence is set up for a bigger resolution than your footage. Drag the video from your project settings to the new item button to create a sequence based on the file.

The thing about Mercury Transmit is that it outputs the signal with the comp or timeline settings. If your monitor IO doesn't support that you get nothing and you can't make comps with fields in AE so

H264 is still a bit tough codec to encode. The bottleneck just might be your computer. A 3 hour encode on a 1 hour movie isn't that impossible.

Neue seems to have way more glyphs and special letters ( etc) so it would be better if you have a project where you have a bunch of foreign names.

Well the difference is that you can set a different preview resolution for just the RAM preview in the preview panel if you want to work in a higher res in the comp window.
