As I've mentioned before, the Noise Gate filter will do a pretty good job of clipping out reverb, or at least the reverb tail which is the most prominent part - you might need to play with the setting

It sounds as though you are exporting 5.1 (6-track) CAF files which is why you are getting more than the expected number of tracks. The way to fix this is to got the the Process menu and select Edit C
