Now, in Mac, one must install older versions of Cuda for Resolve to be stable, then switch back for latest release of Adobe to be stable. It makes quick switching between software on Mac impossible.

The issue happens when you have a system with only AMD GPUs, i.e. No CUDA capable GPUs

Hi Robin, You should consider a warranty replacement unit and see if it helps. It could be a software issue, but I get the feeling it's a bad GPU or VRAM. Regards, Rohit

A 2009 2010 Mac Pro with a GTX570 typically has no problems playing a HD ProRes stream. Your issues might be non standard Mac hardware related.

You can lose the gt120 and use single GPU. Set Video Monitor to optimized mode. Alternatively, get an external SDI to HDMI converter.

You need to be on 10.8.2 Mountain Lion for OpenCL with ATI cards. If you want to continue with 10.6.8, NVIDIA card will work, but 10.6.8 is not a supported version anymore, but it it known to work sti

Make sure you have the optimized option in the video monitoring turned ON, and it will help a lot with the single GPU performance.

This is great! I use a panel, but it's nice to SEE where your corrections are pushing pulling. Looking at colored bars just isn't the same as hue wheels for me, so this really is great! Nice one BMD.

If you've never used Apple's Color, you're probably not used the the idea of Hue v. Hue & Hue v. Sat curves. The thing is, BMD has added them into Resolve, and made them much more responsive and easie
