Filmconvert seems like a waste of $300 IMO, what is it but a lut based on an arbitrary grade of what they think certain film stocks should look like and some fake grain I am less than impressed by the

The print you should scan as linear, most film scanners will by default scan positives as linear. And you just need a print emulation LUT for grading for film out, talk to the lab with the film record

Eric Sternberger "he dreamcolor is in the same price-range as a FSI-Monitor, which is a "real" monitor. " This is a really good point. The dreamcolors are also notoriously flaky. And just frankly not

If it is light grey I think that means it is the original HD-Link which is dual link but only 8-bit output and I don't think it was 2K capable just 1080. Also you might have to adjust some of the HD-L

BVM-D24 and BVM-D32 Grade-1 CRT's are a somewhat precious commodity which are allot of work to maintain and for which you can no longer get a new CRT replacement. Your best path is probably a HP Dream
