You can make an AC3 file in Compressor but that won't do you much good if it wasn't mixed in 5.1 to begin with. And for that you'd need to do the mixing work in Soundtrack Pro, Logic, Nuendo or ProToo

That wouldn't be a legal usage of your license for FCP X. You'd need to sign into the Mac App Store and use one of your installs or you'd need to have them purchase Motion. It's only $50.... Noah Call

Always been a Sandisk man- never had any issues. Just make sure you get at least the minimum recommended read write speed for the camera- if not max out because data rates will always be on the rise.
