"Medium" Quality DVCPRO HD?

We shoot everything with the HVX-200 using P2 cards. One of our technically savvy clients received some footage from us. He noticed that in the pull-down menu it says DVCPRO HD 24p60 at Medium Quality

Medium is normal. Unsure why it says that, but it has ALWAYS said that with DVCPRO HD footage. Shane GETTING ORGANIZED WITH FINAL CUT PRO DVD...don't miss it. Read my blog, Little Frog in High Def

As long an you don't select recompress all frames, you will not add additional compression when using export QuickTime movie (using current settings). Make sure to select make movie self contained.

If you do not want to rerender the graphics in the sequence then you can create the graphics in the codec that the sequence is edited in. I use annimation all the time. this is also teh default codec

I am having a very similar problem. I have a 2hr program that my client wants mastered to DVD-5. When I export using compressor usually durring the second pass I will get a Quicktime Error:0 in Batch

What are your application & still percentages set at in FCP Try scaling them to 95% for the application & 30% for still cache, let me know what happens.
