even though 20 mm from a decent 10 mm lenses should be sufficent in most cases ( correct me if I m wrong but BMDcam is 2x crop, isnt )

Well - I m all for simplicity and ease of usage - I find none of that in FCPX (I m toying wiht trial 10.3. right now). Final Cut pro is fading away from professional film studios, at least in my count
