I think you meant to post this in a Final Cut Pro forum. This is for the server, which doesn't edit -- it just manages the media.

Use the Premiere Pro settings now. They'll process YUV and high bit depth when possible (some of the older filters force it to 8-bit (but who uses those anyway ) -- the filters written expressly for P

Something is messed up on the system. I don't know why .prproj files would be associated with Encore. I can tell you firsthand that Premiere CANNOT write Encore files. Try opening them with File Open
