If the 29.97 is interlaced you could telecine it to 23.976 progressive and then speed it up to 25 with very little noticeable difference in playback.

With the 9.53 drivers the video will play for a few minutes, then the video will freeze, the audio will keep playing and the play head will loop back to the beginning and continue moving down the time

The trick with P2cms is to ignore the ingest button. Once you have created a new database, just load your p2 cards, Select which clips to import,go file export and follow the prompts. Martin

There was a firmware update for the HPX300 that dealt with noise issues, Make sure you have the latest. You could also experiment with lowering the detail and chroma levels in the scene file scettings
