Raylight AVI's will work in Vegas. However you will lose your metadata. Since you use Vegas it might be better to use the Raylight Ultra direct import feature and you can drop the MXF files directly i

The release version will run on either G4, G5 or Intel Macs. There is also an Intel-only version in beta that you can request, it runs about 50% faster vs the release version on Intel.

I would consider instead converting your DVRack AVI's into Raylight AVI's. Raylight handles the YUV to RGB conversion better. You can continue using DVRack for capture. Try installing the demo version
