the used clips are around 1TB, or the full source footage is around 1TB If the full, than simply copy the used clips to your drive. If this is not possible - and you don't mind converting the footage-

AFAIK you can only chose "source name" or give a name yourself. Also you could use "source name" and after render - if you're on Mac - use a renamer tool like http: renamer.com

Render out the video, and play it outside Resolve, full screen. It should be the same as your source footage.

You can try playback even with a single GTX570. If it's not flashed (not from macvidcards) you won't see a boot screen, but otherwise it will be fine. I use it on 10.8.2

Take a look at coollights.biz they have some nice DIY style kits with fluorescent tubes and ballasts for film production and the ballasts will drive two tubes which you can get in daylight or tungsten

Not directly, You'll have to export what you want from the Powergrade or Still tab and then re-import into your new database.. Export as DPX into a folder, you'll notice another file that turns up the
