Hey Jim, The search filter is one level of limiting the effects shown. Using the Icon Filters as you noticed drills down the filter again. And yes these guys only show video based effects transitions.

Try using three way cc for secondary. A map with colour sampled zone will get you there better than curves. Pull the white output levels down to 235 and tweak the gamma on input. JB Jon Barrie Adobe V

Control Right click on any audio track name, check "delete audio tracks", select "all empty tracks" and from there on just drag any track below the master track and a compatible track will be created
