We did ours this way with a bunch of cheap storage boxes from Home Depot. Don't know why the uploader rotated the picture sideways. Just rotate your monitor 90 degrees right and you'll see it better.

It worked for us on a new iMac. When you install X on a system with FCP7, it moves FCP7 into a folder within the applications folder. Everything is still there. If you're doing a clean install of Lion

I googled and read that Ken Stone link. It's completely wrong, but they cleared it up later in the thread. FCS3 installs on Lion mac's with no problem. There is no rosetta requirement to install FCS3
