To make a long answer short, that's because there is not 2 same monitor projector in the world that ITU and SMPTE created standard. For HD, you should use a monitor calibrated to the ITU709 standard a

Does your DPX sequence come from a Discreet system (Flame Fire Smoke Flint) If so, I've seen that by default Discreet (yeah, I hate the Autodesk Media & Entertainment name) put 24Fps in the DPX header

Well, just a guess, but since 2 year Silicon Color was promising us the support of a down-mixed audio track export in Final Touch, because on some projects it's nice to have the audio while grading. M
