Hi Mat, Try changing that Blackmagic capture setting from 18,19,20 to 20,21,22 (analog captions go on line 21 22), and make sure the setting is enabled overall. Also make sure you are capturing in 720

What format are you working with HD SD DV Mixed If you are working with HD or any 720x480 SD format (DV, MPEG-2, etc.), then no, the captions will not be preserved (unless special measures are taken).
