I have recently purchased a Canon HF 200 to replace my old Sony miniDV camcorder. I notice that the body of the camera gets warm when recording. It's not hot, but definitely warm. Have others noticed

Your bad luck! Mine works well. Only occasional freezes (white screen freeze) running in a HP Laptop (500HD 4ram W7) Beside that I prefer to run CC3 in a tower pc because With CC4 I haven't find a way

Thanks Trevor, Hmc150 is so good in low light Assuming this, the Hmc40 is a stripped 150, same electronic, less features...so must be a good purchase...($1k less) Have to see!

Don't know what you did apart but I left the firewire cable connected to the player cam when playing the timeline, I can see thru the cam LCD everything you are trying to figure. (date, time, etc)

Well this is my situation. I have 2 VX 2000-2100 and lastly it giving me lots of drop-outs. I was using the same minidv tape since new. The first (VX 2000)was bought in 2002 & using Panasonic tapes).

Here is: I'm doing the same proccedure for over a year without any problem. Have a rendered avi file of 2:06 (2hrs:06min) from Premiere Pro timeline. I import it into Encore 2 and everything looks ok.

If it is Encore 2 (the one I have) just click the chapter in the timeline and get properties. You will see a "end action". Drag the @ to the main menu or whatever. I have never tried this but I think
