As I understood the OP, it's about batch assigning differents roles to multichannels audio clips (boom, lav...), which is impossible right now.

Morten Hansen "ClipWrap does the job without transcoding." As does FCPX. If you don't transcode the media and use original quality, FCPX simply rewraps AVCHD to h264 like Clipwrap. Jeremy

Just checked, if you paste into viewer, it holds source formating (done in Pages). If you paste into inspector, in Text tab, it holds destination formating (set up in your Motion template)
