I know Quicktime doesn't support authoring (actionscript) so it may ignore it but try placing a stop action at the end of the scene. You can also select layer 1, frame 1 and shift click the bottom lay

A pretty cool way to do it is revealed in the title of your post. If the ends of the road layer match precisely in terms of how they look & fit, you can use that ol' standby, the Offset effect. Dave L

Given that that's just a still image, I wouldn't be surprised if it was just done manually with a distortion filter in Photoshop, with some manual pushing and pulling to mold the lines to the contours

This has nothing to do with expressions. Expressions only calculate values for properties like rotation of position, theg don't add interactivity to a movie. I think Quicktime automatically stops and
