You might have better luck with one of the Panasonic plasmas. The question of less-than-zero budget grade monitoring is a zombie curse that pervades the COLOR and RESOLVE forums, if you searched them.

Thanks folks! I ended up keeping my original i7 system, but I upgraded my gpu, ram & installed an ssd. The performance boost has been incredible with these new components. I am in love with my system
